When William Shakespeare wrote the immortal lines ‘Much Ado About Nothing..’ many never expected that the comedy play will soon be part of everyday life. Yes, the phrase has become so frequent due to the happenings in life. And film industry is one place where such phrase can be used several times.
This time, the much ado about nothing talk came after the two films ‘Ra.One’ and ‘7th Sense’ hit the screens. Given the hype and expectations with which the films arrived and the final product onscreen, there is a significant difference. The overall talk from various centers is that both films have not been upto the expectations.
For ‘7th Sense’, many say the concept was brilliant and had blockbuster ingredients but execution went bad. As for ‘Ra.One’, there is no concept and focus was more on presentation than actual content and subject. However, the cine folks are hoping that the films make some decent business and land in profit zones. But the first day afternoon and evening collections dropped miserably due to Diwali festival.
