Milk white beauty Tapsee walked out of Telugu remake of Bollywood hit 'Tanu Weds Manu', which stars comedian-turned-hero Sunil in the lead. Though earlier Tapsee agreed to portray the role played by Kangana Ranaut in the original, later on she dropped her idea. "Though the makers have offered me the role, I turned down the offer as my callsheets were full," said Tapsee.

According to the sources, "Tapsee was not interested to pair opposite a comedian like Sunil, when she is being offered the roles opposite star heroes by the film makers." Now, the makers of the film have no option other than to search for a new heroine to replace Tapsee. The film will be directed by Devi Prasad('Aaduthu Paduthu' and 'Blade Babji' fame) under Super Good Movies banner.

Maverick director Rajamouli has said that there is no scope for a sequel to his magnum opus Magadheera. "Magadheera doesn't have a scope for part 2. Even if there is, after spending 2 years in the project, it is boring to work in the same space again," said Rajamouli. Magadheera has shattered all the previous records, both collections and centers wise. The film was also bestowed with a rare achievement of completing 730 days(two years) of run in a single theatre(Lakshmi) of Kurnool.

The top director also clarified that he never makes films for fans. "Consider expectations of fans of the Hero - I will never make a film for them. I make movies for myself. In between I am changing genres just for change. Fans or their expectations never troubled/bothered/pressurised me. They won't ever," said the director.

Neetu Chandra(Sekhar Kammula's 'Godavari' fame), who created a stir with her bold lesbian photo shoot, has decided to take up the mega phone. Yes, It is true that she is turning a director soon. "I know my talent. Though I'm having the capacity to portray any role, even it is an experimental or galmorous one, the directors and producers are neglecting me. They are not using my talent. So, I have decided to don the director's cap. With the enormous experience I have in this craft, I have prepared a script. This film will go on the floor soon," said Neetu Chandra.

Surprisingly, Neetu's debut film as director is a story revolving around lesbian relationship. When questioned her about the same, she replied,"What's wrong if I choose a subject on them. Are they not humnas?". "Neetu knows well that sex sells anything. That's one reason why she has choosen such bold subject. Even if the film fails, she will be in the news all the time - before and after the release," says a film critic. More than anyone, Neetu knows better how to be under constant media glare.

Shazahn Padamsee, who played the love interest of Ram Charan in 'Orange', says the length of a role doesn't bother her. "The length of the role in a film doesn't bother me. What matters to me is, how crucial my role is and what I can contribute to the film. Whichever film I do, I would like to stand out in the film," says Shazahn.

Now-a-days, Item Numbers are the best way to stand out. When asked If she is ready to do Item Songs, She replied, "Few Item Songs were choreographed wonderfully in the recent past. But, I think I'm too young to do them. Rather than doing Item Numbers, I would like to portray good roles in quality films".  Shazahn, who is a foodie, doesn't miss to visit if the new restaurants in town. The actress also reveals that other than acting and food, she loves to burn the calories in gym.

History has shown that odd combinations tend to work out at box office. The likes of ‘Andaala Ramudu’ ‘Vinayakudu’ are some of the examples. Right now, there is a strong buzz that if all goes well then Trisha would be pairing up with Sunil. The man to make that possible is director Veerabhadram who scored a hit with ‘Aha Naa Pellanta’. Sources say Veerabhadram is doing a film with Sunil as the hero under the RR Movie Makers banner. The interesting part is, for heroine they are considering Trisha. The music will be composed by Anup Rubens.

The cinema industry is one place where you tend to find deserving talents but lacking success. Usually, it is the steps they take in their career which results in such things. Right now, a hot discussion is happening on one such person and she is none other than Colors Swathi. A senior producer who was part of the discussion revealed “Swathi is a very talented person. She was great as an anchor, had good timing with her lines and a witty sense of humour. For some reason, she has become an actress. As such she is not a heroine material in long run as she is not desired by every director.”

He added “The best path for Swathi is, she can do anchoring for TV shows and get into significant roles in movies like the ones she did in ‘Aadavari Maatalaku Ardhaalu Verule’. But she can’t take full time career into cinema by ignoring TV. I don’t understand why she has to become laughing stock like this. God has given her few chances.” Another director stated “No heroine can entertain masses with natural dialogues like Swathi on the small screen or during events. Instead of that, she is doing something else. She can take inspiration from Jhansi who has got a big image and has dual presence in TV and cinema. She also got Nandi award with her right moves.” Wonder what Swathi has to say to this now.

By this we are not talking about the film ‘The Businessman’. This is about a rather unusual experience that Kajal Agarwal had recently. Apparently, the pretty girl has been riding high with the success of her Bollywood venture ‘Singham’ and sources say she was approached by a businessman wanting to produce a film with her. After several rounds of requests and calls, the businessman finally got to meet Kajal and he gave the narration of a story. It is heard that Kajal turned it down and wanted something different. At this, the businessman reportedly insisted on Kajal taking an advance with an assurance that he would come back with a better script.

Due to his persuasion, Kajal reportedly took the advance cheque of Rs 3 lakhs. However, the man went missing for 3-4 days and when Kajal’s manager called him, the answer took them aback. This businessman revealed he was actually an ardent fan of Kajal and since he didn’t know any other way of meeting her, he took this route. As for the cheque, Kajal has not encashed it but she was heard saying that the total experience had amused her though it was a bit unnerving. She also revealed how the man was showering praises on her when they met which flattered her to an extent.

Actor Prabhas is doing a lots of homework for his yet-to-be-launched film, Rebel.  The film will be his next release and it is probably for the first time that the actor is giving a gap of nearly 8 months between two films (Mr. Perfect was released in June).  The actor is confident that Rebel is a kind of film which will work wonders for him, sources say.  The handsome hunk is pairing up with Anushka Shetty.  Deeksha Seth is another girl who will be seen playing the second heroine.
After Kanchana, Lawrence Raghava is directing Rebel with renewed vigour.  It may be said that after so many offbeat films in all these years, Lawrence will be seen doing a really big-ticket commercial entertainer with a top class actor like Prabhas in the lead.  The film's subject is rumouredly very hatke in nature too.  Krishnam Raju will be seen in a significant character role in the film. Though some versions of the film's story did the rounds recently, it is said that they are concocted and have got nothing to do with Rebel.

Buxom beauty Anushka is going to act in another female centric film under the direction of Selva Raghavan. This film is a bilingual film, will be made in both Tamil and Telugu languages. Arya will play the male lead in the film. Arya is also well known to Tollywood audience with the films Varudu (he played negative role) and recently released Vaadu Veedu (he played one of the hero in the film). Director Selva Raghavan was roped to direct the Kamal Hassan’s new project Viswaroopam, later he stepped out of the project. He also planned a Telugu film with Allu Arjun, but that project also kept aside. But after watching Anushka’s performance in Arundhati he planned to direct a heroine-oriented movie immediately with her, but that was not materialized. Now he has finally come up with a new script, which has more importance for a female lead role than male lead. Recently Anushka has also signed another lady oriented film titled "Rampa Chodavaram" under the direction of Chaitanya Dantuluri.

Although master pieces like 'Sholay', 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Lejayenge' and 'Prem Nagar' might have run for years long back but present market situations are totally odd to sustain these many days of run for a movie in single theatre. In current generation, fate of a high budget movie depends upon number of opening prints and opening collections while the uncongenial atmosphere makes it problematic for a movie to even have a run of three weeks. In this kind of pathetic circumstances, Magadheera stood as a valiant fighter creating a new bench mark hard to cross for any Indian film that would release here after.

Dusky beauty Bindhu Madhavi plays a bold character for the first time ever in her film career. She is portraying the role of a commercial sex-worker in the film 'Sega'. It's true that Bindhu Madhavi's role in the film forced the censor board to award an 'A' certificate. It's a common phenomenon in film industry that people choose unconventional ways to regain their prime position. With her career in slump, Bindhu Madhavi has decided to try something different to prove her mettle. She is doing the same, what her predecessors Tabu('Chandini Bar') and Kareena('Chameli') has done in the past. It is said that the scenes of Bindhu Madhavi as sex worker are shoot in aesthetic manner. The movie is a realistic portrayal of darker aspect of the city.

The hottest pair, Nani and Nithya Menon are playing the lead roles in the film. The film is being directed by Anjana Ali Khan, a protegee of Director Gautham Menon. Gautham Menon is producing the film on his banner 'Photon Kathaas'. The film which revolves around five characters was shot in just 46 days. The makers were of the opinion that youth will connect with their film big time. 'Sega' is scheduled to release on July 29.

Given the success streak with which director S S Rajamouli has been shaping his career, he has become the hot property for many actors and producers. Now, it is heard that even Nagarjuna had his eyes on Rajamouli. Sources say Nag’s strong desire is to have one film for his son Naga Chaitanya under the direction of Rajamouli.

Apparently, Nag’s belief is that with Chaitu getting polished under the tough taskmaster, his range will grow into the top league. Recently, it is heard that Nag called up Rajamouli to discuss about a possible project. Sources say Nag waited for two hours to receive Rajamouli’s call. Finally, Rajamouli called and said no. The director reportedly stated that his diary is full till 2014 due to various film assignments and other obligations. However, it is heard that Nag is determined to have Rajamouli for Chaitu within the next year or so. But then, that’s how Rajamouli’s demand is. So let us see what happens.
