Coming to the comparison between Mahesh Babu and NTR, both Dookudu and Oosaravelli are released in more or less same number of theatres. Oosaravelli released in slightly more number of theatres than Dookudu. The first day collections of these movies show that NTR has a clear edge over Mahesh in our state. Mahesh is undoubtedly bigger star in overseas. But when it comes to our state alone Pawan Kalyan and NTR Jr are the kings of openings.
Oosaravelli wasn't as hot as Dookudu when under production or during the pre release days. However, NTR's Oosaravelli collected almost 2 crores more than what Dookudu managed on first day. This shows that NTR is a bigger star than Mahesh in AP even after Dookudu! If NTR can get this record opening with a film like Oosaravelli, then imagine what kind of sensation he could create with a film which gets talk equal to Simhadri?
