It has been a while since the film ‘Dookudu’ has hit the screens and though it has been declared a blockbuster, the mania has not reduced. Atleast that seems to be the case when one goes to the Mallikarjuna Theatre in Kukatpally. Reports say that the morning show is having 80% occupancy.
The film has reached the 5th week but thumping collections are being recorded in the theatre. Despite working days, the response to the film from the audience is very strong. The highlight to watch out in this theatre is when the song ‘Poovai poovai….’ song comes. It is heard that at that time nothing is heard inside the hall amidst whistles, shouts and yells.
The management reveals that all are repeat audience and they are watching the film a minimum of five times. The theatre folks are now waiting to see if Suriya’s ‘7th Sense’ or any other film will be able to create a diversion or not.
